Naked Wine Show

Naked Wine Show (http://www.nakedwineshow.com) was created by Frogwater Media, and they asked me to be the host. Along with Tim Troke and Matt Campagna, I was involved with the naming of it, and helped work on the format. It started as a bit of a joke after I told Tim that I would really like to be involved with the new wine program he was creating. He asked me, "Would you do it naked?", and I flippantly replied, "Sure". He took me at my word, and that's how we ended up with the name.

We launched in July 2008, and the show has steadily increased its following and distribution over the years. It continues to enjoy great fan loyalty to this day. The goal of theshow was to make wine more accessible to more people by explaining it in simple terms, with some irreverent humour. Having fun and being funny were the keys to establishing the light-hearted tone of the show, and working with the greatFrogwater crew made that easy. In January 2010, Naked Wine Show was given the Tasty Award (http://www.tastyawards.com) for Best Critic or Review Series. It was nominated for the same award in 2011. In 2012 it was nominated again, along with nominations for Best Single Topic Series, and Best Drink or Beverage Program – Web.
